OPPOSING OF USING PLASTIC BAG'S
Assalamualaikum..
I am Puan Sufiah mother of one of the student in this school would like to stress that I am personally disagree with the school decision using the national flag made from plastic bags during Merdeka celebration day last week.
Among the reason is we have been advised by the government to limit the usage of plastic bag in order to preserve our environment. This practice should be started at the school as it is the best place for students to learn how to keep our environment safe and clean. Therefore, I am requesting the school to limit the usage of plastic bags at the school.
Thank you,
Puan Sufiah Bt Mahmood

Patriotic Spirit Of SK Kangkar Pulai 2's pupils
Around 800 pupils of SK Kangkar Pulai 2 in Kangkar Pulai, Johor Bharu, showed their patriotism with a touch of creativity by creating the Jalur Gemilang, the Johor flag and 1Malaysia logo using 12,000 packets of coloured water.
The project, produced by pupils in conjunction with the school's Merdeka month celebration, had grabled the attention of many people, including parents.
The project was conceived by English teacher S.Narayanan, 40, who sought the cooperation of other teacher and Year Five pupils to complete the mammoth project.
He said the teachers and students took a week to complete their 35 by eight metre creation. "We added colouring to make the water and used high quality plastic bags to ensure that they did not leak."
"We spent about RM400 to make the flags and hope it would be listed in the Malaysia Book of Records," said Narayanan.
